How do I apply for VoltCash Prepaid Mastercard®?

Download the VoltCash Mobile App available in the App Store® and Google Play™ and complete the application.

What documents do I need to apply?

We accept one of the following valid photo identifications: Valid Foreign-issued Passport, Valid Matrícula Consular (Guatemala or Mexico), United States State Driver's License, United States State Photo ID. You will also need to provide your name, contact information, and physical address in the United States.

Will you check my credit?

No, the VoltCash Card is a prepaid card, not a credit card, and no credit check is required.

Once approved, how do I get my card?

You can pick up your card at a participating VoltCash Agent. To pick up and activate your card, provide the verification code from your VoltCash App to a teller.

Is there a monthly fee?

There is a Monthly Fee of $4.95. See the Fee Schedule for complete details.

Where can I use my card?

Your VoltCash Card may be used in-store and online – everywhere Debit Mastercard is accepted. You may not use your card for adult or online gambling sites.

How do I change my PIN?

Call 1-844-730-3377 and follow the prompts, or log in to the VoltCash App and select Set PIN on the Card tab.

What is a CVV and where can I find it?

The CVV is a 3-digit number on the back of your card, directly to the right of the signature panel. It provides an additional layer of security for online transactions.

How can I load money on my card?

You can load your card with payroll or benefits checks at any participating VoltCash Agent, load cash at VoltCash Agents, or enroll in direct deposit.

How do I check my balance?

Check your balance anytime using the VoltCash App or by calling Customer Service at 1-844-730-3377.

Will I be charged a fee at an ATM?

No fee at MoneyPass® ATMs. A $2.50 fee applies at non-MoneyPass ATMs. Additional fees may apply from the ATM operator.

What if my card doesn't come back from an ATM?

Contact the ATM owner or call Customer Service at 1-844-730-3377. Customer Service can help with ordering a new card if necessary.

What should I do if my card gets lost or stolen?

Log in to the VoltCash App, go to the Card tab, and lock your card. If you can't find it, call Customer Service immediately at 1-844-730-3377.

Am I liable for unauthorized transactions?

You must notify us immediately at 1-844-730-3377 of any unauthorized use. See your Cardholder Agreement for specific details.

How do I dispute a transaction?

Call Customer Service at 1-844-730-3377, or send a dispute in writing to VoltCash, PO Box 1124, Sioux Falls, SD 57101.

How do I contact Customer Service?

How do I reset my App account password?

Open the VoltCash App, tap Log In, enter your email or phone number, then select Forgot Password. Or log in and go to: Account > Password and Security > Password: Change.

How do I change my address?

Via the VoltCash Mobile App or by calling Customer Service at 1-844-730-3377.

How do I change my phone number?

Call Customer Service at 1-844-730-3377, or log in and go to: Account > Personal Information > Phone number: Edit.

Where can I find my monthly statements?

Open the VoltCash Mobile App, tap Transactions, then select the Statements option.

Can I receive a third-party deposit?

No, only direct deposits in your name may be made to your account. See your Cardholder Agreement for full details.

How can I close my card?

Contact Customer Service at 1-844-730-3377 or write to VoltCash, PO Box 1124, Sioux Falls, SD 57101.
